Alison Kim

Hello, my name is Alison Kim and I'm a Hospitality major at Georgia State University. I recently started going to Buckhead church and was exposed to the opportunity to go on a mission trip. I thought it was a great time for me to see God is a totally different place working and living in the places I've never dreamed of finding him. Thank you for all your support and hopefully our short journey to Merida will be filled with purpose.
Bonnie McBride

My name is Bonnie McBride and I am a freshman at Georgia State University. I am involved with The Living Room at Buckhead Church and am a member of the women's fraternity Zeta Tau Alpha. I wanted to go to Merida because I have never been on a mission trip out of the country and I also wanted to be able to experience God in places other than my own surroundings.

Odessa Cravey
I am from Jacksonville, FL. I am passionate about travel, Gator football, and being in the sunshine. I am excited about to be a part of this AWESOME team so I can be a "light" to others and be used to glorify His kingdom.
Matthew 5: 14-16- 14"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. 15Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.

Team Retreat in Ellijay, GA January 30th and 31st

Greetings!
This past weekend our team had a retreat up in the North Georgia Mountains. We stayed in Ellijay, GA at the McBride's home (Bonnie's parents). We were so lucky and thankful for the McBride's hospitality and food! On Friday night we enjoyed a huge bonfire and was able to share our testimonies. And on Saturday morning and early afternoon, we hiked for many hours along a river that offered many sights and sounds of spectacular waterfalls. We all returned back to Atlanta mid-afternoon on Saturday. It was a very successful weekend for the team. We are now less than one month until we depart for Merida, MX!
